Getting started
Sign up for a free account — you get free tokens on signup, no credit card required. Add your website URL and Montu gets to work: it writes articles, social posts, and designs tuned to your brand, with a site audit and keyword strategy running underneath to keep everything sharp. Most people generate their first piece of content within minutes of setup.
No. Montu is designed for marketers, founders, and agency teams — not developers. Adding a website takes 2 minutes. Montu Mind handles the technical parts (crawling, API connections, structured generation) automatically. The only technical step is optional: connecting WordPress or Shopify for auto-publishing.
You're taken to your dashboard. Add a website URL. Montu Mind will start a crawl, pull your sitemap, and suggest a keyword plan. From there, you can generate content manually by type, or turn on Montu Mind to have everything run hands-free on a monthly schedule.
Content & quality
Articles (long-form SEO), product descriptions, landing pages, category copy, social posts (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), ad creative briefs, design assets (banners, post images, product visuals), and featured images. All content types are available on every plan.
Yes. Each website has a brand-tone setting you configure when you add the site. You can set the writing style (professional, conversational, persuasive), the target audience, and keywords to prioritise. Montu Mind uses these settings across every content type it generates for that site.
Yes. Content lands in your dashboard in a 'Ready' state — you can review, edit, or approve before it goes live. With Montu Mind in full-auto mode, content publishes on your chosen schedule. You can pause publishing at any time without stopping generation.
Montu supports multi-language content out of the box. Each language track is generated from native search intent — not translated from English. You can run multiple language tracks simultaneously from one dashboard.
Automation & publishing
Montu Mind is the autonomous strategist at the heart of the platform. Set monthly targets per content type (e.g. 20 articles, 10 product descriptions, 30 social posts) plus a daily publishing rate. On the 1st of each month, Montu Mind studies your site and competitors, generates the full content batch, runs a fresh audit, and drip-publishes articles and pages to your CMS on the daily schedule you set. Social posts are queued in your Montu calendar, ready for you to post whenever you choose. Montu Mind is available on all paid plans.
Site content auto-publishes to WordPress and Shopify via REST API. Social content is generated for Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok — posts go to your Montu social calendar, ready for you to post yourself (TikTok captions ready). Ads Taps generates audience, budget specs, and hook angles for Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and Snapchat.
Instead of dumping 20 articles live at once (which looks spammy to search engines), Montu spaces them out across the month based on your daily quota. A daily quota of 1 article means one piece ships each day, building consistent crawl signals without triggering penalties.
Montu Chat is a conversational AI built into your dashboard that knows your site. Once Montu Mind has run a study, Chat has access to your site's SWOT analysis, your top 3 competitors' positioning, and your full content inventory. Ask it anything: "What content should I create this month?", "Which keywords am I missing that my competitors rank for?", "What's my biggest content weakness?" — and you get direct answers grounded in your actual data, not generic templates. Montu Mind is the autonomous mode — it studies your site, builds the full strategy, and runs all nine content pipelines automatically each month. The Content Calendar is the manual mode — you decide what gets created and when. Click any date in the calendar, choose a content type (articles, social posts, designs, products, pages, or email campaigns), configure the options, and optionally set a repeat interval so content generates every 1–5 days without you having to click again. Most users run Montu Mind for the bulk of their content and use the Calendar to fill specific gaps or run targeted campaigns on their own timeline.
Pricing & billing
Every action in Montu costs a flat number of tokens. Articles cost 50–70 tokens depending on length (Short, Standard, or In Depth), social posts cost 20–30 tokens each depending on length, audits and site analyses cost 100 tokens, and keyword research costs 5 tokens per keyword. Your plan gives you a monthly token budget. When you run out, you can top up in $5 increments at 50 tokens per dollar.
Every new account gets free tokens on signup — enough to run a full generation flow (an article, social posts, and keyword research). No credit card required. After you've used them you can subscribe to continue.
Yes. No long-term contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period, then closes without auto-renewal.
Your account data is retained for 90 days after cancellation to allow for re-activation. During this window you can export anything from the dashboard. After 90 days, personal data may be permanently deleted on request. Content already published to your site, store, or social channels remains there — we do not delete it.
Security & privacy
Only you. WordPress/Shopify API keys are stored encrypted in our database and never shown in plain text in the UI after initial entry. Our staff cannot read them. They are only used server-side to push published content to your CMS.
Yes. Your website data, generated content, keyword strategy, and analytics are private to your account. We do not use your data to train AI models. Content is generated fresh per request and is not shared between accounts.
On Neon (managed Postgres) hosted in AWS eu-central-1 (Frankfurt). All data is encrypted at rest. Connections are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3). We do not store payment card data — billing is handled by Dodo Payments, a PCI-compliant payment processor.
