Montu uses a Shopify custom app credential — an API key you create in your Shopify admin and paste into Montu. This gives Montu scoped write access to products and pages only. You can revoke access at any time from your Shopify admin.
Will Montu change my existing products?
No. Montu only writes new content or updates descriptions on products you specifically select. It never modifies product pricing, inventory, variants, or any setting outside the description fields.
