Does Montu need admin access to my WordPress site?
No. Montu connects via WordPress Application Passwords — a scoped credential that lets it publish content without full admin rights. You create one password in your WordPress user settings and paste it into Montu. You can revoke it at any time.
Will Montu overwrite my existing content?
Never. Montu only creates new posts and pages. It never modifies, overwrites, or deletes any existing content on your site.
Does it work with WooCommerce?
WooCommerce publishing is on the roadmap. The WordPress integration currently handles articles, pages, and standard WordPress content — WooCommerce product publishing is coming soon.
Can I review content before it goes live?
Yes. You can set Montu to publish as drafts — you review and approve each piece before it goes live. Or set it to auto-publish on a schedule if you prefer fully hands-free.
